This is what self-love can be like.

I hope you explore what it means to love yourself.

To love, is to embrace.

Embrace all that you are,

all of who've you been.

Embrace that there are parts of you

you may not be proud of,

and that there are parts of you that may have created outcomes you are ashamed of.

Regardless, you deserve your own love.

Regardless, your love is what will fill you

when reality decides to drill you.

Do not underestimate what your love can do for you,

because your love is what holds you when healing gets hard and things feel like they're breaking apart.

Your love is what speaks to you

when nights feel longer and lonelier than usual.

Your love will lift the corners of your lips

when people who matter, come over to sit with you.

Your love will spur you on, and gift you courage

when fear lashes out and keeps you stuck in your patterns.

So, may you explore what self-love can feel like for you.

There’s so much magic that your own love can create for you.

I hope that someday, you'll look in the mirror,

and you’ll be able to think to yourself, “I love you,”,

breaking into soft laughter while feeling a deep sense of peace from within.
